WALK AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Cabra-Vale Diggers was proud to be a sponsor supporting the community and raising awareness against domestic and family violence on Thursday 17th November 2022.

Fairfield City Council facilitated a walk from Cabra-Vale Memorial Park along the main street to Freedom Plaza Cabramatta. The walk was well supported by our local community groups, and schools in the area. At the end of the walk, we heard from many dignitaries and community leaders including Detective Superintendent Michael McLean APM the Fairfield City Police Commander along with the Mayor of Fairfield Frank Carbone and Dai Le Member for Fowler.

This event highlighted we need to Stand Up, Speak Out and report domestic and family violence in our local community.

It was great to see so many of our local schools showing off their talents with public speaking and performances throughout the morning. We look forward to being apart of this again next year.
