Each member is entitled to 3 Tickets (Member and 2 Guests) and bookings are ONLY accepted through reception. The ‘Take Me To Wonderland’ and ‘Splash Dance’ shows will inspire your children to get moving and sing along. The Christmas workshops will also have fun activities to learn new skills!

We were honoured to have the bowlers from @ingleburnrsl join us for our Fun Social Day of Lawn Bowls whilst also remembering those who served our country in past and present wars.

It was a great day with lots of fun and laughter and one that we will continue to have for many years to come. There were a total of 54 players, and as always they enjoyed our wonderful greens and surrounding facilities.

There was an incredible turnout for the Domestic Violence Walk in Cabra-Vale Memorial Park this morning. Services including @bonniesupportservices, @fwhscabramatta and Justice Support Centre were present to shine light on this important issue. We heard from @mayorfrankcarbone and @dai_le who spoke about the importance of speaking up and the alarming persistence of domestic violence around the country. Students from @cabramattahighschool also put on beautiful performances.

Cabra-Vale Diggers Club honoured Remembrance Day w

Cabra-Vale Diggers Club honoured Remembrance Day with a deeply moving ceremony on November 11, commemorating the sacrifices of Australia’s servicemen and women, particularly those lost in World War I. Held on the parapet beside the Bowling Greens, the service gathered veterans, dignitaries, club members, and the local community in a shared moment of remembrance, marking 106 years since the Armistice of 1918.

Welcome to Country by Aunty Gail Smith, from the Gandangara Aboriginal Land Council, followed by a powerful address by Warrant Officer Class One Kimberly Keily from the @australianarmy's 2nd Health Brigade. WO1 Keily, who has extensive operational experience in Iraq and Malaysia, reflected on the dedication of soldiers who fought for the freedoms enjoyed today. Her words resonated with attendees, reminding all of the courage and selflessness of those who served.

Cabra-Vale Diggers Club is set to host its 2024 Re

Cabra-Vale Diggers Club is set to host its 2024 Remembrance Day Service today, marking 106 years since the end of World War I. Held on the parapet of the Club’s Bowling Greens, this solemn commemoration will honour the sacrifices of the over 60,000 Australians who did not return from World War I and the many thousands more who have served and sacrificed in conflicts since.

The service will begin at 10.30am and we will pause at 11am, reflecting the exact time the Armistice was signed in 1918, symbolising a nation united in remembrance. Distinguished guests, veterans, dignitaries, club members, and the community will gather to pay tribute to those who fought for the freedoms enjoyed today. The ceremony, led by MC and Club Director Shane Burette, a Timor veteran, will feature a series of special addresses, prayers, readings, and traditional elements, including a Catafalque Guard and the laying of wreaths to honour the fallen.

The Cabra-Vale Diggers Club extends an invitation to all members and the local community to join in this special day of remembrance, honouring the men and women who have served and sacrificed in conflicts past and present. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided for guests following the service in the club’s event space.
