TOPPING OUT CEREMONY

On Tuesday, the 19th of December 2023, CabraVale Diggers, a stalwart in the entertainment and leisure scene, was thrilled to announce the official Topping Out ceremony for its ambitious multi-stage redevelopment project. The ground breaking ceremony, which took place on the 16th of December 2021, marked the commencement of a transformative journey set to redefine the landscape of entertainment, dining, and leisure in South West Sydney. This multi-stage redevelopment is scheduled for release and launch of its various stages mid 2024 with completion slated for 2025.

The Topping Out ceremony signifies a significant milestone in the construction of this massive undertaking, providing a tangible sign of achievement and a sense of accomplishment for the project team, stakeholders, and the Cabra-Vale Diggers community. This ceremony is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of the construction team, whilst acknowledging those who have contributed to the successful completion of the building’s structural framework.

At the heart of the redevelopment features the launch of two exceptional dining experiences under the visionary guidance of recently announced Culinary Ambassador, Dany Karam. A 160-seat state-of-the-art Steakhouse and Whisky Bar will captivate guests with its in-house butchery and a dry-aged full blood Wagyu fridge. Additionally, a 300-seat Italian Restaurant, inspired by the interior design of Starbuck’s Reserve in Milan, Italy, promises a transitional all day dining concept.

The Cabra-Vale Diggers redevelopment goes beyond dining, incorporating a plethora of exciting new additions. A magnificent eastern entry point, adorned with a spacious Porte-cochère from Railway Parade, will serve as a visual gateway to the newly built 140-room hotel tower. The tower boasts a pool and day spa, offering guests a luxurious retreat. In addition, a state-of-the-art business hub and the expansion of existing function rooms further enhance the venue’s offerings.

“We are elated to celebrate this Topping Out ceremony, a testament to the dedication and hard work of all those involved in bringing our vision to life,” said Boris Belevski, CEO at Cabra-Vale Diggers. “This redevelopment goes beyond merely establishing a venue; it’s about curating an experience that will redefine the landscape of entertainment, dining, and leisure in South West Sydney, becoming the Premier Club resort in Sydney.”

Fostering a sense of community and shared achievement, this time-honoured tradition serves to recognise the progress, celebrate the construction team, and imbue the building with symbolic meaning as it moves toward completion.

In attendance on the day were President Walter Robinson OAM, Vice President Ronnie Moore, Directors Shane Burette, Lindsay Sharp, Joseph Farrugia and Janice Betts along with CEO Boris Belevski and his Management team as well as Rony Wardan and his team from the Wardan Group. Also in attendance was Mr. Tri Vo State Member for Cabramatta with apologies from Mayor Frank Carbone and the Federal Member for Fowler Dai Le.

Cabra-Vale Diggers looks forward to welcoming patrons to experience the culmination of this transformative project, promising an unparalleled blend of entertainment, dining, and leisure.
