VICTORY IN THE PACIFIC 2024
The Victory in the Pacific Committee, comprising of three Registered Clubs – Cabra-Vale Ex-Active Servicemen’s Club, Mounties Group & St Johns Park Bowling Club – along with six RSL Sub Branches in NSW from Bankstown to Campbelltown, held a ceremony at Cabravale Memorial Park on Wednesday 14th August.
The march commenced at the Cabra-Vale Diggers Club, proceed along Bartley Street onto Railway Parade, and conclude with a Commemoration Service in Cabravale Memorial Park.
The weather was not kind to us and rained down on the parade but an excellent service was held to honour those fallen, attended by:

- Warrant Officer Class One Kimberly Kiely (RSM 2 BDE) Australian Army
- American Representative Mr Matthew McCarty Representing the United States of America Consul General Christine Elder
- Deputy Consul General Mr Ed Kitt representing the British Consul General Louise Catton
- The Consul-General of Japan, Mr Shuichi Tokuda, as well as
- Margot Smith from RSL & Services Clubs Association, Rebecca Riant CEO ClubsNSW and Mayor of Fairfield Frank Carbone
