RECOGNITION FOR OUR SUPPORT DURING THE FLOODS
Cabra-Vale Diggers supports the community in so many ways. On Wednesday 9th November 2022, the Club was invited to attend the South West Metropolitan Region Emergency Management Committee meeting to receive an acknowledgement of support for its contribution to community with the recent flooding in the district.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police Stuart Smith who is responsible for the region presented Michael Foulkes, Group General Manager with a certificate of appreciation and complimented the Club for its ability to support and its willingness in helping the local community.
The acknowledgement focussed on the floods in March 2022.
Michael Foulkes thanked the committee and went on to say that we are privileged to be able to assist the district in times of need and we stand ready to support our community whether it be our area or the wider region.
