Rememberance Day

On Monday 11 November 2019, 174 members and friends gathered at the Clubs’ Porte Cochere to commemorate the end of the WWI, known as the Great War, 50 Wreaths were laid on behalf of organisations, community groups, sub clubs, local schools and members in memory of those gone before us. The local Federal Member and Club Patron Mr Chris Hayes was in attendance. It was a fitting ceremony for the occasion with support from the Board with Director Ronnie Moore conducting the Wreath laying ceremony, Director Lindsay Sharp read the Ode and Director Walter Robinson was the MC for the event. Twelve local schools attended which is magnificent attendance doubling this 2018 event.
