LEARN TO DRIVE PROGRAM – GRADUATION CEREMONY

Cabra-Vale Diggers is proud to be associated with the Gymea Community Aid & Information Service’s Learn to Drive Program which held its Graduation Ceremony in our new Space Event Centre this morning. The club has supported the program for the past 6 years. The ceremony congratulated graduates of the program from Liverpool, Blacktown & Fairfield.

In attendance was our Group General Manager Michael Foulkes, our Group Marketing & Business Development Manager Shayne-Anne O’Leary, General Manager of Gymea Community Aid Joanne Cracknell, State Member for Cabramatta Tri Vo along with Fairfield MP David Saliba, Joseph La Posta CEO Multicultural NSW and many more.

Some community groups may have difficulty meeting the requirements to get a driver’s license. This impacts access to employment, education, training, health care, family, community support and cultural activities, so it is always a privilege to be able to help provide assistance in improving road safety in the overall local community.

It was great to see so many proud and happy graduating participants of the program tell their stories on the day on how it has impacted their lives and given them the freedom to be able to seek work, study and the capacity to have transport to take care of their families.
