LAST POST CEREMONY
On Wednesday 22nd November 2023, the Cabra-Vale Diggers Management Team along with Directors travelled to Canberra for strategic planning as well as paying a visit to the Australian War Memorial. The team took a tour around the galleries throughout the afternoon returning to be a part of the Last Post Ceremony which is performed every day.
President Walter Robinson OAM participated on behalf of Cabra-Vale Diggers in the Last Post Ceremony laying a wreath on behalf of the club. It was very hard not to be moved to tears. Also attending were Directors Joe Farrugia, Lindsay Sharpe, Shane Burette JP & Janice Bush Betts along with CEO Boris Belevski, General Manager Michael Foulkes, CFO Kylee Adams, Group Operations Luke Whalan, Group Gaming David Stevenson, Group IT Brian Farrugia & Group Marketing & Business Development Shayne O’Leary.
