DUTY MANAGER
Full time $80,000 – $85,000 per year
We are currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Cabra-Vale Diggers. As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the club, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our members and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring all activities are running smoothly.
- Manage and lead a team of employees, ensuring they are meeting performance targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our members and guests, enforcing club policies and procedures.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and responsible gambling policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a hospitality or gaming environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage conflict and provide excellent customer outcomes.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of gaming and liquor legislation and regulations.
- An understanding of scheduling and rostering staff.
- Experience in people management, including performance management and emotional intelligence.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly in report writing.
- Competence in all frontline positions, and a willingness to assist as required.
- Availability to work 7 days a week, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays, on a rotating roster.
