Transport system Barcelona
Taxi
In general, a taxi, as in any other big city, are numerous and available. You can always find them, hundreds of parking lots are scattered around the city, and they are constantly running around. Use the Halo or By-Taxi application if you need to call a taxi on holidays or early in the morning. Most taxi drivers accept credit cards, but check twice before you remove the money. And if you pay in cash, try to give without passing.
Underground
Barcelona Metro System is just a dream: easy to use, trains clean and run often. Take the card and move yourself, you will see that it is quite easy. Nevertheless, be careful with the metro schedule, so it works it from 5 am to 12 am on weekdays, up to 2 am on Fridays, and all night on Saturdays and special holidays. If you plan to ride a metropolitan more than 5 times, take a ticket T-10 for 1 euro.
City bus
Another excellent option to ride Barcelona. It is possible that this option will not be so fast as the subway, but you can see the wonderful streets of this city. At each bus stop, you can find information where the bus is sent and where it stops.
Take a ticket or T-10, which are sold in any subway or tobacco store - it will cost you cheaper than elsewhere.
By cycling
See Barcelona from the bicycle saddle - it's really cool! Although the bicycle system Bicing is available only for residents of the city, but there are numerous bicycle rentals that will provide you with everything you need. Many streets around the old city and not far from the beach give priority to cyclists and passersby. But it is better to use a map for cyclists to become a pro.
Ferrocarrils.
Ferrocarrils is an internal system of urban electric trains of Barcelona. If you need to get to more remote places, such as Sarria, Tibidabo and others, then it is better to use Ferrocarils. Many of these trains are departed from Catalunya Square and go through the entire city as soon as possible. The best types of Barcelona open from the top of Tibidabo.
Rodalies.
Rodalies (Cercanias in Spanish) is a long-distance network of Railways of Spain, as well as the ideal option to go on a day trip. You can see such places as Sitges or Girona.
High-speed train
In Spain, one of the best high-speed trains in the world. No better way to get into any city of Spain than on the high-speed Ave train. To buy a cheap ticket, it is desirable to take care of this in advance.
On foot
Of course, in Barcelona it is interesting to walk in any area, but it is interesting to do it in the old center of Barcelona. There are many picturesque winding streets and alleys.
