CABRAMATTA DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WALK
There was an incredible turnout for the Domestic Violence Walk in Cabra-Vale Memorial Park last Friday, 15 November 2024. Community and service providers including Bonnie Support Services, Fairfield Women’s Health Service, Rotary Club of Fairfield City, Bill Crews Foundation and Justice Support Centre gathered to shine light on this important issue. We heard from Mayor Frank Carbone and Deputy Mayor Dai Le who spoke about the importance of speaking up and the alarming persistence of domestic violence around the country. Students from Cabramatta High School lead an awareness walk around the park and put on beautiful performances.
