In 2016 -2017 financial year, Cabra-Vale Diggers members donated over $ 13,565 to the Miracle Babies Foundation which has provided support for 203 local families of premature and sick newborns. This was the largest donation for the club industry that year. All funding was directly invested towards essential NutureProgram services and resources as they strive for “better healthier outcomes for newborns and their families challenged by prematurity and sickness” The Foundation provides services to 48,000 babies and their families who require in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursey ( SCN).
