Canley Vale High School Anzac Memorial Opening
On Monday 5 November 2018 Directors Ronnie Moore and Wally Robinson were invited to attend the unveiling of the Anzac Memorial at Canley Vale High. The project has been ongoing over the past 3 years and proudly funded by Cabra-Vale Diggers. Located in the school gardens this memorial commemorates Anzac Day a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders “who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations” and “the contribution and suffering of all those who have served. The memorial has capsules of sand from the beach at Gallipoli.
