Interested in Chess? Want to play friendly chess games and or tournaments? Cabra-Vale Diggers Chess aims to cater for beginner to professional representative players. Social chess players are most welcome to join. It is open to club members every Monday from 7pm. Enquire at reception. There is a fee of $30 that will cover for the membership into NSW chess registered tournaments.

The Cabra-Vale Diggers Cricket Club has been operating since 1962 and plays both Summer and Winter Competitions in the Fairfield / Liverpool area. Both Seniors and Juniors are eligible to participate with Juniors training on either a Tuesday or Thursday.

Love getting out on the water? Well why not join the Cabra-Vale Diggers Fishing Club. It’s been in operation since 1955 & is the oldest Sub Club of CVD. The Fishing Club meets weekly at Cabra-Vale Diggers from 5pm to 7pm during the raffles. Any Cabra-Vale Diggers Member is able to join the Fishing Club but be warned the boys like to get you out on the water and test your skills before they will sign you up.

Great fun for any age the Indoor Bowls Club at Cabra-Vale Diggers welcomes all newcomers. Indoor Bowls are played every Tuesday at 9.45am in the Games Room (Level 1). Please wear bowls or flat soled shoes for the protection of our carpet. The District & Club Championships are held annually.

The Cabra-Vale Diggers Ladies Auxiliary is a not-for-profit fundraising committee raising much needed funds for the local community. Just some of the causes that the Ladies Auxiliary donate to include: Fairfield Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, Salvos, Miracle Babies and Care Flight. If you would like to join the Ladies Auxiliary please contact the Secretary to receive your application form. The Ladies Auxiliary meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 1.30pm at Cabra-Vale Diggers.
